Casey Selfridge heads into year four at the helm of the Lakeside program, and you will not find many coaches that have done more with less. That’s not a knock on the quality of players, as much as the quantity, as Lakeside typically doesn’t have large numbers.
The Bethel program has fallen on hard times recently after many years as one of the top teams in Washington. New head coach Mark Iddins takes over and looks to turn around the once proud program.
New head coach AJ Parnell takes over a program that hasn’t seen a ton of success recently, but he has done it with the big picture in mind.
John Johnson is in his 8th year as head coach of the Cougars, and has put together a rather impressive resume in such a short time. His teams have qualified for the playoffs each year of his tenure, and have reached the semifinals three times (2008, 2010 and 2012).
Spartans head coach Keith Ross is one of the more underrated coaches in the state. He is heading into his 13th season at the helm, and has guided his teams to multiple league titles.
Monte Kohler is heading into his 30th season as the head coach at O’Dea, and as usual, he has a tough-physical football team capable of making a deep run in the playoffs.
Head coach Tony Davis is heading into his 21st season at the Maple Valley school, and has done a tremendous job, but is really going to have to do some of his best coaching for the Bears to make a run this season.
2013 left a bad taste in the mouth of everyone at the North Kirkland school, as they missed the playoffs by just one game, but the Rebels are once again one of the more talented teams in the 3A classification.
