As recruiting picks up and signing day draws near one of the most consistent names that you hear is Tysen Prunty (6-2 190 15′ S/ATH) of Tigard.

Most are familiar with Oregon commit Brady Breeze (6-1 200 S/ATH 16′) of Central Catholic. The Mt Hood conference player of the year is currently ranked one of the top 10 safeties in America and a big reason why the Rams dominated the state in 2014.

Anyone familiar with the Tigard program knows it’s tough to start as a youngster. From the youth on up it could be the most well run organization in Oregon.

If we are referencing the top young receiving duo’s in the Northwest, Mason Elliott (6-3 180 WR/TE/S 17′) & Samori Toure (6-1 165 WR/CB 16′) of Westview, are two of the first names that come to mind.

Over the years Canby High School has been a traditional football power and produced some of the state’s top talent. Junior Tony Kraus (6-3 235 DE/TE 16′) will help in continuing that trend, earning Three Rivers League Defensive Lineman of the Year honors this past season.
