There are two new number one teams in the state, and a few others continues to make big jumps. This week we expand our 2A/1A/2B rankings from five to ten.
Sure, it was a non-conference game, but Bethel got a much needed 27-7 win over North Thurston at South Sound Stadium in Lacey.
When we saw 2017 OL/DL Brandon Pili at a camp this summer, he was still planning play his senior season in Anchorage, Alaska, but a family situation forced a move to the Portland area and now he’s starting a playing well for Westview and he recently earned his first offer.

A crazy week one is in the books. There were upsets all over the board and the updated rankings will reflect that. Following this week’s games we will be expanding all team rankings, other than 1B, to a top ten.
