To start, this is to the best of my knowledge. I have contacted coaches and athletic directors to get answers, and have generally received great responses. If you know of a mistake here, please email me, Ringerland@gmail.com and I will gladly take a look.
What you will see below is a breakdown of each game listed above, who can play in that game, and what it will take for them to get there.
Big 9 #2 Automatic Bid
The Big 9 conference is allotted two state tournament berth. They are the only conference in the state that does NOT participate in the Round of 32.
Big 9 #2 Possible Teams:
AC Davis Pirates – If Moses Lake wins over AC Davis and the will lock up this spot.
Moses Lake Chiefs – Moses Lake loss and West Valley loss, they lock up this seed. If they lose and West Valley wins, their head-to-head game in week 10 will determine this seed.
West Valley (Yakima) Rams – The Rams must win this week and have Moses Lake lose to setup a week 10 game to determine who gains this seed.
Kingco #4 @ SPSL North #1
Kingco #4 Possible Teams:
Eastlake Wolves – If the Wolves lose to Skyline, Issaquah beats Redmond and Woodinville loses to Newport, they will be locked into this spot.
Mount Si Wildcats – If Eastlake is to beat Skyline, Mount Si will be locked in here.
Woodinville Falcons – The Falcons must beat Newport to have a chance. If they do, and Eastlake loses to Skyline, they will take this spot, and Eastlake will be out.
SPSL North #1 Possible Teams:
Kentwood Conquerors – If Kentwood beats Todd Beamer, they will take this seed.
Thomas Jefferson Raiders – If Kentwood loses to Todd Beamer, and the Raiders beat Kentlake, they will lock in this seed.
Kentlake Falcons – If Kentwood loses to Todd Beamer, and the Falcons beat Thomas Jefferson, the will lock up this seed.
GSHL #2 @ SPSL North #3
GSHL #2 Possible Teams:
Battle Ground Tigers – The Tigers are locked into a 4-2 league record and play a non-league game this week. Any Skyview loss to Union locks this spot in for the Tigers, because even with a Mountain View win, Battle Ground would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker from their 69-43 win over Mountain View in week 4.
Skyview Storm – If Skyview beats Union, and Mountain View loses to Evergreen, the Storm will take the #2 seed because they beat Battle Ground 30-14 in week 3.
Mountain View Thunder – To be the #2 seed the Thunder must beat Evergreen and have Skyview beat Union. That will set up a three-way tiebreaker on Monday at Camas High School. For more information about that tiebreaker, visit This Link .
SPSL North #3 Possible Teams:
Kentwood Conquerors – If Kentwood loses to Todd Beamer, they will automatically become the #3 seed.
Thomas Jefferson Raiders – If Kentwood wins, and Thomas Jefferson loses to Kentlake, the Raiders will be the #3 seed
Kentlake Falcons – If Kentwood and Thomas Jefferson win, the Falcons will be the #3 seed.
MCC/GSL Crossovers
There will be three crossover games this year. The teams will reseed after the week 10 games, I will have more about that next week. Two of these games are set in stone, with the winner of this week’s game between Mead and Lewis & Clark locking in the third game.
1. Walla Walla Blue Devils (MCC #3) @ Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (GSL #1) – Friday November 6th at 6:00pm
2. Chiawana Riverhawks (MCC#2) @ Central Valley Bears (GSL #2) – Friday November 6th at 6:00pm
3. Mead/Lewis & Clark (GSL #3) @ Richland Bombers (MCC #1) – Friday November 6th at 7:00pm
SPSL South #2 @ Bellarmine/Gig Harbor (Narrows #2)
SPSL South #2 Possible Teams:
Graham-Kapowsin Eagles – If GK loses to Bethel this Friday, they will be the #2 seed.
Curtis Vikings – A GK win puts Curtis into the #2 seed. Possible tiebreakers… They own head-to-head vs Bethel. In the event of a three-way tie, the SPSL uses point differential (worst possible way other than coin flip) to determine the seed, and Puyallup would need to beat Rogers by 127 to change this tiebreaker. To make that happen, Puyallup would have to run up the score on Rogers, which we frown on in this society.
Narrows #2 Possible Teams:
Bellarmine Prep Lions – A loss to Gig Harbor this week and they are the #2 seed.
Gig Harbor Tides – A loss to Bellarmine Prep this week and they are the #2 seed.
Big 9 #1 Automatic Bid
The Big 9 conference is allotted two state tournament berth. They are the only conference in the state that does NOT participate in the Round of 32.
Big 9 #1 Possible Teams:
AC Davis Pirates: Win over Moses Lake and they are the #1 seed.
Moses Lake Chiefs: Win over AC Davis and they are the #1 seed.
GSHL #3 @ Wesco #2
GSHL #3 Possible Teams:
Battle Ground Tigers – If Mountain View loses to Evergreen and Skyivew beats Union, Battle Ground will be the #3 seed as Skyview holds the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Mountain View Thuunder – If Skyview loses to Union, the Thunder will be the #3 seed, regardless of the outcome of their game vs Evergreen. Battle Ground holds the head-to-head tiebreaker, with Mountain View holding head-to-head tiebreakers over both Union and Skyview.
Skyview Storm – To be the #3 seed the Storm must beat Union and have Mountain View beat Evergreen. That will set up a three-way tiebreaker on Monday at Camas High School. For more information about that tiebreaker, visit This Link .
Wesco #2 Possible Teams:
Monroe Bearcats – A win over Mount Vernon and the Bearcats are the #2 seed.
Snohomish Panthers – A win over Mariner and a Monroe loss to Mount Vernon, the Panthers are the #2 seed.
Mariner Marauders – A win over Snohomish and a Monroe loss to Mount Vernon, the Marauders are the #2 seed.
SPSL South #3 @ Camas Papermakers (GSHL #1)
SPSL South #3 Possible Teams:
Bethel Braves – If they lose to Graham-Kapowsin they will be the #3 seed.
Puyallup Vikings – If Bethel beats Graham-Kapowsin and Puyallup beats Rogers, they will be the #3 seed based on their head-to-head win over Curtis.
GSHL #1:
The Camas Papermakers have locked up the GSHL #1 based on their League record.
Wesco #4 @ Bellarmine/Gig Harbor (Narrows #1)
Wesco #4 Possible Teams:
Snohomish Panthers – A loss to Mariner and the Panthers are the #4 seed, unless Monroe loses and Kamiak wins.
Mariner Marauders – A loss to Snohomish and the Marauders are the #4 seed, unless Monroe loses and Kamiak wins.
Kamiak Knights – To possibly grab the #4 seed, the Knights will need to defeat Cascade and have Monroe lose to Mount Vernon. If that happens, there will be a three team tiebreaker between Kamiak, Monroe and the loser of Mariner/Snohomish to determine the #3 and #4 seed.
Narrows #1 Possible Teams:
Gig Harbor Tides – A win against Bellarmine Prep and the Tides are the #1 seed.
Bellarmine Prep Lions – A win against Gig Habor and the Lions are the #1 seed.
SPSL North #4 @ Skyline Spartans (Kingco #1)
SPSL North #4 Possible Teams:
Thomas Jefferson Raiders – If Kentwood loses to Todd Beamer and Thomas Jefferson loses to Kentlake, the Raiders will be the #4 seed.
Kentlake Falcons – If Kentwood loses to Todd Beamer and Kentlake loses to Jefferson, the Falcons will be the #4 seed.
Todd Beamer Titans – If both Kentwood and Thomas Jefferson win, the Titans will be the #4 seed.
Kingco #1:
The Skyline Spartans have locked up the #1 seed.
Narrows #3 @ Kingco #2
Narrows #3 Possible Teams:
Olympia Bears – If the Bears beat Yelm, they are the #3 seed.
Yelm Tornados – If Yelm beats Olympia, and Timberline loses to South Kitsap, the Tornados are the #3 seed.
Timberline Blazers – For Timberline to have a chance at this seed, they will need to force a tiebreaker. To do so, they will need to beat South Kitsap and have Yelm beat Olympia. As of this morning, we have been told the Narrows league had not made a decision on how to break that tie.
Kingco #2 Possible Teams:
Eastlake Wolves – To secure the #2 seed, the Wolves must beat Skyline this week.
Issaquah Eagles – To secure the #2 seed, the Eagles need Skyline to beat Eastlake this week.
Tahoma/Federal Way (SPSL North #5) @ Lake Stevens (Wesco #1)
SPSL North #5:
This spot is a determined by a crossover game. The Federal Way Eagles (SPSL NW #3) travel to the Tahoma Bears (SPSL NE #3). The winner will secure the SPSL North #5 seed. This game is also a rematch from week three when Tahoma topped Federal Way 18-15.
Wesco #1:
The Lake Stevens Vikings have secured the #1 based on regular season record.
Kingco #3 @ SPSL North #2
Kingco #3 Possible Teams:
Issaquah Eagles – If Eastlake beats Skyline the Eagles are the #3 seed.
Mount Si Wildcats – An Eastlake loss, and Woodinville win over Newport and the Wildcats are the #3 seed.
Eastlake Wolves – If Eastlake loses to Skyline, they will need some help to get to #3. They would need Redmond to beat Issaquah and Newport to beat Woodinville. If that happens… Eastlake, Issaquah and Mount Si will be stuck in a three way tie. Since the three teams will already be guaranteed a playoff spot, a coin flip will determine the seeding.
SPSL North #2 Possible Teams:
Thomas Jefferson Raiders – If Kentwood beats Todd Beamer and Thomas Jefferson beats Kentlake, the Raiders will be the #2 seed.
Kentlake Falcons – If Kentwood beats Todd Beamer and Kentlake beats Thomas Jefferson, the Falcons will be the #2 seed.
Todd Beamer Titans – If Todd Beamer beats Kentwood, the Titans will be automatically locked into the #2 seed.

Kamiak Knights – To possibly grab the #3 seed, the Knights will need to defeat Cascade and have Monroe lose to Mount Vernon. If that happens, there will be a three team tiebreaker between Kamiak, Monroe and the loser of Mariner/Snohomish to determine the #3 and #4 seed.
SPSL South #1 Possible Teams:
The winner of the week 9 game between Bethel and Graham-Kapowsin will determine the #1 seed.
