In breaking news Thursday night Oregon top lineman Levi Long (6-7 290 2015) of Sprague (Salem, OR.) received his first offer from Montana State.

It could be the first of many for the talented kid out of the CVC as he is ranked one of the region’s top lineman. Long was an all conference kid last season and plays with a no non sense demeanor. He is currently being courted by multiple Pac 12 schools as he is ALL of 6-7 with a nasty streak.

Referencing the offer from the Bobcats Levi says, “I’m just extremely grateful that such a quality university believes in me, it just makes me want to work harder.” Give a lot of credit to former MSU athlete Cody Kempt who has been doing a phenomenal job recruiting the area for the school. Just this week they extended 5 scholarships to kids in the Northwest.

Long is at the top of the charts with two other 6-7 lineman in Oregon, as Jared Hilbers (6-7 275 2015′ OL/DL) out of Beaverton and Blake Brandel (6-7 250 2015′ DE/OL) of Central Catholic will both be high profile D1 kids as well.

The Olympians return as the defending CVC champion and will rely heavily on Levi to keep the ground game consistent. He has an outstanding support system at home and comes from a very athletic family. We wish the big man continued success and will bring you updates as they happen.
