We are very excited to be starting a new interactive feature here at NEI, where players and fans of high school football here in the Northwest will be able to answer a weekly question relating to the game we all love and the players who play it. Readers will be able to submit their answers via twitter by simply tweeting using the hashtag #NEIpoll, and top tweets and poll results will appear right here on the site.
For our first question, we want to ask you what you think the best uniform is in the Northwest? We are gonna start it off for you, and tell you what we think are the Top 10 just in the state of Washington.
To submit your answers of what YOU think is the best uniform in the entire Northwest, tweet a picture of the jersey using the hashtag #NEIpoll and be sure to tell us why you think it should be it number one.
1. W.F. West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA)
This all-grey look from the Bearcats takes the number one spot. The matte grey helmet compliments the overall uniform, and the road white jerseys are equally as strong.
2. Mount Si Wildcats (Snoqualmie, WA)
Mount Si is unique in the fact that they have multiple uniform combinations and rarely repeat those combos. This all-black look is our favorite of the bunch.
3. Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors (Cle Elum, WA)
The Warriors sport a traditional styled jersey, with the classic shoulder stripes. The school colors are maroon and gold, and when they incorporate them on the black uniforms it makes for a cool blend of old school and new.
4. Tumwater Thunderbirds (Tumwater, WA)
Sid Otton and the T-Birds are traditionalists, and there’s no denying it. The Tumwater home greens are just a great throwback look that take you back in time.
5. Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA)
Like Mount Si, Issaquah has a plethora of uniform combos at its disposal. The black jersey on black pants edges our the black on grey as our favorite Eagles’ set, but we are big fans of all the variations.
6. Union Titans (Vancouver, WA)
Another program with an entire set of uniform variation that we like. There really isn’t a combination the Titans wear that we aren’t high on.
7. Graham-Kapowsin Eagles (Graham, WA)
The all-orange uniforms GK wears is just a dynamic, fun look. The white helmet with the giant eagle head is really what tops off the whole combo.
8. Morton/White Pass Timberwolves (Randle, WA)
You don’t see the color combo of orange and green very often. The orange helmets on the home green jerseys with black pants really make for a cool look.
9. Bothell Cougars (Bothell, WA)
It’s hard to think of a uniform combination that parallels a team’s identity better than Bothell’s all-blues. The “Blue Train” is at its best when the Cougars are decked out in the royal blue from head to toe.
10. Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA)
The Braves’ scarlet helmets on their scarlet home jerseys is such a sharp, bold look. The gold numbers and black accents make for a fun, bright combo.
