Joey Alfieri 6-3 225 Jr. Jesuit – The kid out of Oregon continued his tear with his 13th offer coming from Nevada. Alfieri has quickly become one of the hottest recruits in the country and says its been a pretty crazy couple of weeks, ” Recruiting has really picked up.. Nevada, Arizona St, Arizona, and BYU were all here on the same day and then CAL, USC, and Washington on the next”.
“I’ve been talking to schools like Nebraska, Tennessee, and Northwestern, and will hopefully be getting some more attention from some of the SEC schools”. Alfieri should be considered one of the top 10 linebackers nationally, so whatever he does from here on out isn’t a surprise. The kids a player and we will continue to bring you updates as they happen.
Joel Dublanko 6-3 215 Fr. Aberdeen – Washington super freshman Dublanko added his 2nd D1 offer from Akron. The Nation’s #2 ranked LB for the class of 2016 will be able to go almost anywhere he wants before his high school career is over, but was humbled by the scholarship offer. “I’m really excited to have an offer from Akron, I had been communicating with them and studying their school which has a strong academic history”.
Dublanko was offered by FCS power Montana after his 8th grade season, and has a bunch of SEC and PAC 12 type schools right on the verge. Joel was one of Team USA’s top players this past off season, and projects as a kid that can play multiple spots on the defensive side of the ball.
Joel added, “They have a fairly new stadium which is impressive, and their coaching staff is really good with head coach Terry Bowden”. He continued, “It’s really an honor to be offered by such a great school, as this just motivates me to keep working hard”.
We wish the young superstar continued success. He is an even better person than athlete
