One of Washington’s top senior linebackers, Albert Havili (6-3 240 LB) of Federal Way, received his 2nd D1 offer tonight from the Montana St Bobcats. Havili was a fixture on the NEI/Barton Camp and Combine Tour all off season, and we can’t say enough about the kids potential.
Havili had already been offered by Eastern Washington , and looks to be right there on the bubble with a host of other schools. Its rare to have a kid with great size run so well, but Albert moves to the ball as quick as any backer in the region. Havili was a first team all league athlete on both sides of the football as a junior, and is now helping the state’s #2 ranked 4a team destroy most competition.
Fed Way has three athletes that hold D1 offers in Havili, Mike Tate, and DLondo Tucker. After tonight’s offer Havili said, ” Im honored to have a second scholarship offer, especially from another high quality competitive school”. Montana St and Eastern Washington are two of the top D1aa programs in the country, and play in what is known as the SEC of the FCS (Big Sky Conference)
This Federal Way group is special for multiple reasons, and Havili represents a bunch of great kids who we feel privileged to have trained with over the last few seasons. Its another big offer for Albert Havili, and we would be willing to bet its no where close to his last.
