In Part 3 of our series we take a look at the LB’s & DB’s highlighted by Conference Player of the Year Peyton Pelleur (6-1 235 Jr. LB) of Skyline HS who helped lead his Team to a 4a state title this past season racking up 153 total tackles (10.9 per game). He is considered potentially the best linebacker in Washington going into 2012.
The Washington DB’s were nothing short of outstanding with Tere Calloway (6-0 190 Jr. DB/RB) of Seattle Prep, and Kahlil Dawson (5-9 165 Jr. CB) of Graham- Kapowsin both holding D1 Offers to (Calloway)Purdue and (Dawson)Wyoming.
Over the last couple months we have been hosting elite events for the best athletes in Oregon and Washington. The top athletes from both states have come to Portland and Seattle to train against other top competition. The experience is something the likes we have never seen before in the Northwest.
Its very rare for our top kids to get good reps against elite competition all year long, but Barton Football and NEI have found a way to make that happen. We will now be combining the two state’s and having the kids compete in a variety of competition type settings.
Next month we will be hosting a 7 on 7 competition between the top athletes in each state, as well as a camp and combine event. All of these (Invite only) elite events have proved very beneficial, and we are looking forward to providing an environment that promotes our Northwest talent. We will be announcing time and date along with location soon.
