OREGON BARTON ELITE EVENT VIDEO BREAKDOWN: Part 2 (Quarterbacks & Running Backs)
Just a phenomenal group of Running Backs, and the usual cast of very talented QB’s joined us on Sunday for our elite (Invite Only) event. All four of the RB’s will be All State kids and each one of them is a player of the Year candidate in their respective conference, with Hoffman winning the award last year as a junior.
We had Oregon’s #1 Jr QB and and #1 Freshman QB in attendance, a week after working with The Nation’s #1 QB in Max Browne out of Seattle at our Washington event. With all of the top kids joining us we will be putting together the most extensive camp and combine tour ever assembled in the Northwest. All of the top athletes that you are seeing on these videos will meet and compete, and we will find out who the best of the best are in the Northwest.
Enjoy part 2 of our 4 part segment where we discuss the top Quarterbacks and Running Backs in Oregon.

RB’s
Devauntae Hoffman 5-8 180 Jr. Gresham- Mt Hood Conference Player of the Year as a junior, unbelievable overall talent..Super shifty kid that can hit the hole hard or bounce it out and beat you to the corner. Over 1700 All purpose Yds, 20+ Tds and one of the fastest kids in the state.
Zach Floyd 5-8 165 Jr. Tigard- If there was an MVP on the day it could have gone to him. 1st team all league RB, 2nd all league DB, 20 + Tds in 3 back system…Has jumped up our rankings board and should be considered a conference favorite for 2012 Offensive Player of the Year in the Pacific. So fast and explosive, and is easily one of the top backs in Oregon.
Johnny Ragin 6-3 210 Jr. Wilsonville- David Paulson type athlete, could be a Division 1 H Back..Unbelievable size and speed, all league on both sides of the ball, 6 Total Tds, Army All American Combine Invitee…Ragin gets the, “who’s that?” card pulled on him all the time because he looks like he’s made of clay. One of the Top 25 Players in Oregon
Bruce Jones Jr. 5-11 175 Jr. Sunset- Could have one of the biggest years of any dual threat athlete in Oregon. Maybe the most deadly athlete in the State that people don’t know about. He projects as a legit D1 defensive back if he puts in the work, and he will be an Offensive POY Candidate in the Metro. Will get a lot of carries in 2012.
QB’s
Justin Adams 6-6 1/2 210 Jr. Sandy- Currently ranked Oregon’s #1 QB, 3 sport athlete -one of the best baseball players in the state, and averaging 3-4 dunks a game on the hardwood. 3.65 student, 5 AP classes, will have all his school paid for and then some…1st team all league baseball, led league in HR’s, 1.83 ERA… Averaging 14 Pts, 9 Reb’s per game Basketball
Sam Stelk 6-6 230 Jr. Tigard- Overall outstanding athlete and student, just know which position he will play. All league Defensive end, that would project at a higher level on D or at Tight End. One of the leading scorers on the basketball team, tremendous worker
Cade Smith 6-0 165 Fr. West Salem- Oregon’s Top Freshman QB..Brother of Freshman All American Brett Smith out of Wyoming. One of the most polished young QB’s we have ever seen, will continue to grow. You are not going to find classier kids so the Smith parents need to be commended as well.
Johnny Williams 6-3 190 Jr. Lincoln- All league QB with IVY League smarts. Typically the hardest worker in the gym, and can also run the football. 17 Tds/ 7 Ints, 2000 yards ..4.0 GPA , Just a phenomenal kid.
Jonah Koski 6-3 190 Jr. Bend- 2nd Team all league QB, that is an All State baseball player as well…Will lead a talented Bend group, returns after throwing for 2200 pass Yds, 25 Tds/ 10 Ints.. Outstanding family
Brad Bennett 6-0 185 Jr. Century- 1st team all league kid that will team with Sam Riddle to form one of the best QB combos in the state. Bennett’s a kid that just gets it done, not a big QB but a very good athlete that has a solid cast coming back.
Sam Riddle 6-2 190 Jr. Century- Just a very good overall athlete that is in a unique situation with two QB’s. Riddle is a good QB but can also play WR..You will want the ball in hands one way or another.
AJ Woodin 5-11 185 So. Southridge- Kids just a winner..Playing behind one of the Northwest’s Top QB’s in Reza Aleaziz. Woodin’s a worker, 32 Tds/4 Ints JV but will be ready when called upon. QB Smarts are outstanding.
Casey Brink 6-2 185 Fr. Bainbridge, WA- Freshman sensation out of Washington. Another kid that’s going to have a very successful career..He wasn’t happy with his performance, but that is what’s going to make him elite..Never being satisfied
Connor Neville 6-0 155 7th Beaverton- As Taylor said, “The best young QB he has EVER coached”. This coming from the guy who has more QB’s in the NFL then anyone else right now..Just an unbelievable overall talent. Has the skills of a Varsity starter as a 7th grader..
