Adam Winterling (6-4 200)

Oregon’s Top uncommitted wide receiver, Adam Winterling (6-4 200 Sr. WR) of Jesuit, has received a full scholarship offer to play football at Portland State. The Vikings just don’t seem content and continue to try and add to their record setting recruiting class.
Winterling was a first team all league athlete this past season catching 10 + Tds on a team that primarily ran the ball. During the off season he dominated DB’s on the camp circuit and earned himself a lot of praise from onlookers. ESPN has him ranked the #6 recruit in the entire state of Oregon, while we at NEI have him listed the #2 senior WR in the state behind behind California bound Maximo Espitia Jr.
Adam now will be deciding between his offer from the University of San Diego and PSU. “The Portland St coaching staff was at my house earlier in the week and made it official today that they were offering me”, Winterling said.
San Diego has been putting a full court press on for Adam’s services and it’s going to be a tough decision regardless. ” Its a beautiful campus that sits right on the beach, and Its a very good academic school which is something I’m looking for”.
Some wonder if PSU got in the mix to late, but no matter what we will have his decision here first and are looking forward to bringing you the story.
