Nathan Leddige (6-6 285 Sr OL) ,Oregon’s Top Uncommitted Offensive Lineman, made his intentions known committing to the University of Wyoming recently. The Cowboys have done an incredible job recruiting in the Northwest and have picked up some big time talents such as Leddige. Coach Pete Kaliqis has done a masterful job using solid northwest ties to do quality work.
The Southridge Senior leader was a first team all league selection for the past two seasons, and earned second team all state honors by NEI. He helped lead the Skyhawks to a Metro League title in what is typically considered the state’s toughest conference.
Wyoming got a clutch commitment from one of the Northwest’s top receivers in Trent Sewell of Bothel, and recently offered two more Barton kids in Jayshawn Jordan of ODea and DJ May of Federal Way.
This combined with the emergence of West Salem native Brett Smith at QB makes Oregon and Washington two places where the Cowboys have figured out they could better themselves. Leddige is one of the nicest kids you will ever meet, but don’t let that fool you. The kid is big and can run and should be considered someone that can step in and play relatively soon if need be. We talked to Leddige while he was working the other day and he says, “Ya I committed and Im very excited, its a program that is just getting better”.
We wish Nathan continued success and will be following all his future achievements.
