If you ask Trent Sewell (Bothell- WR), Uso Olive (Federal Way-DL), DJ May (Federal Way-RB/S), Jayshawn Jordan (ODea- CB), or Dawson Housley (Sheldon-LB) how they got the hook up with Wyoming they will all say the same thing...Taylor Barton and NEI. Its been very rewarding to help these exceptional kids get their school paid for and find a home at the Division1 level. Just recently one of Oregon's most high profile linebackers, Dawson Housley (6-3 215 Sr.) got his third offer, and this one came at the hands of a familiar northwest visitor as of late in the Wyoming Cowboys.

The Cowboys have come to the Pacific Northwest and racked up top talent, snatching five D1 level kids in a matter of a few weeks. Housley was a player of the year candidate and lead the State of Oregon's 6A classification level in multiple categories. Over his career he totaled a phenomenal 245 tackles (10.2 tackles per game) ,8.5 sacks, 5 Pass deflections, 4 fumble recoveries, 7 caused fumbles, and 3 blocked punts.

Combine this with 2 conference titles and a state title appearance, and you have what amounts to a very successful career. Housley has been offered by Portland St and Weber St, but says he will not be going to either one.

He is currently weighing his other two options, which would be a preferred walk on spot at the University of Oregon or a full ride to the University of Wyoming. " Im flying out to Laramie for my official visit this weekend, and I'm really excited to see what they have out there", Housley said. " Im going to weigh my options carefully because I've always dreamed of playing in my own back yard at Oregon".

Parker Mays
6-2 205 WR/S Sr Seattle Prep

Adding to the excitement was one of our other favorite athletes from the State of Washington, Parker Mays (6-2 205 WR/S) getting an official offer from Wyoming as well. We have seen the kid blossom into an outstanding football player, and no one questions the genes as the name Taylor Mays speaks volumes.

We wish to congratulate both athletes on all of their hard work, as we at NEI will continue to be your Northwest leader in breaking news with the most recent offers being reported on first.
